RRM Upper Front Strut Bar and Master Brake Cylinder
RRM Upper Front Strut Bar and Master Brake Cylinder
Hey everyone,
Recently bought the RRM upper front and rear strut bars, lower sway bar and lower tie bar.
Everything installed fine except for the upper front strut bar. This is because the master brake cylinder is in the way and the strut bar cannot be installed.
What I want to know is if any of the Evo master brake cylinders would fit and are a different shape that would allow it to be installed.
My car is a right hand drive car as I am in New Zealand. The only alternative I can see is re-adjusting the RRM strut bar by cutting the welds and re-welding it in a different position. However I'm not sure if this will have an impact on the results from the strut bar and obviously will void my warranty.
I have contacted RRM as well but just thought I might drop a note on here to see what anyone else can come up with.
Cheers,
Sanzie

Nice list of things you picked up,I have everything you bought. It's a nice addition for sure
The rrm x bar sits close to the master brake cylinder but it fits. Did you torque down one side then try the other side but it didnt work? That was my mistake as well. You will need to bounce back and forth, torque one on the drivers side , then one on the passenger side , repeat. That's how I got mine installed.

Yeah have tried that, I think the issue is that the RRM strut bar is not identical on the angled bars the left side is longer than the right, this means it overlaps the MBC for me.
