new lancer owner - need some advice/opinions

Hey guys, bought a used lancer in September – currently inthe garage with the following problems:

Need new brake pads and rotors

Windshield wash pump

Exhaust leaking (need exhaust & spring kit)

Oxygen sensor – bank 1 sensor 2

So in total that’s all going to cost $1254.. 716 for parts,the rest for labor. Just wondering the following questions;

How simple is it to install a wiper fluid pump myself? It costs$53 from the garage, I can probably get it online for 25-30 – that leads me tothe next question – can I use a universal one or do you recommend it?

Should I consider getting a new performance exhaust at thispoint instead of a regular exhaust?

Any help or opinions would be appreciated, Thanks!

brakes...easy

exhaust...do you want noise, if so, get the aftermarket. not much of a performance increase from changing it out, so, would have to be for sound.

oem style washer pump I would think is the only way to go.
fyi, on the o2 sensor....sometimes it is the front cat rather than the o2 even though the code says o2. from experience...i wound up changing out the exhaust manifold to cure it since it houses the front or top cat.

probably find some videos on line for the how to's.

Everything you mentioned is DIY. $1254 is way too much.
