I just got my Buschur Short ram Air today....are there any step by step instructions to installing?....i have done searches up the @$$ and all i ever see is MAS bolt problems....The SRI i got doesnt come with any mounting tools...does it need any?....also what side of the negative or positve cable do you take off the battery to reset the MAS to ECU...and the SRI didnt come with any nuts and bolts....im not sure where to start....i hae done searches for about 2 weeks now and nothing really that helps =/....if anyone has step by step instruction i would very much appreciate it...im just afraid of screwing stuff up...i tend to do that =P

should be a simple install.. just bolt on, but i guess them sending you the wrong part could be the problem. And as for resetting your ECU, just unplug the negative from the battery for about 5-10 minutes, then turn the car back on and dont touch the gas! it'll probably rev really high, like to 4k for a second or so, dont be worried about this, its fine. Then let the car sit for about 15 -20 minutes at idle.

you shouldn't need any mounting hardware. make sure the filter is where it's supposed to be and the clamps tight and you shouldn't have any problems. my intake at the moment is a 90 degree bent pipe and no mounting hardware. it just stays there like morning wood.

haha awesome quote

i just got an adapter/filter...and ihad the mas bolt problem...took me 50 minutes to take off one bolt...pos bolt...die! i tried hack sawing through the whole box lmao...i oiled, grip and rip the bolts nothing worked....i eventually just sawed out edgesof the box and got a wrench on the inside by the honeycomb that heldthe screw while i undid the bolt...

anyways one time the wrench slipped and i bashed the honey comb..i got about 4-5 of those little holes have a messed up edge now..but it sounds bad *** lmao...

just disassemble it all...and put it back together, its not that dificult...i used some zipties to hold my filter in place
