Question evo 7 cluster on lancer cg 03

G'day buds.
sorry for starting up a new thread but ive looked at all the ones regarding cluster conversions and no one is in the pool as me. ive got a lancer cg es 2003 (mind you, im in AUSTRALIA) and ive got that standard ugly odd shaped cluster. i recently purchased a evo one from a half cut EVO7.
i hooked it up and it works like a dream.....besides the fact the the lights dont exactly work. the only thing that lights up is the abs light which is always one for some reason, the empty fuel orange light and the speedometer which by the way is only lit up from 0 to 60/70 and is pretty dam dim.
the guy i bought it from said something about the wires in the 2 back plugs. apparently a few wires have to be taken out and put in the correct order for the lights to work. FYI im sure that the lights are in perfect order seeing that it only has 34ks on the clock. my lancer had done 180 000 and the lights were as bright as new.
does anyone here have the same problem or have any info on it.
ive been looking for diagrams/schematics/manuals and have only found an evo 8 one. i think the only way to fix this is if i have the lancer plug diagram or colour code and evo 7 one in order to compare and adjust accordingly.
I didnt make this thread because i cant be bothered searching, ive looked everywhere, downloaded heaps of pdfs, asked roughly the same thing on AUSLANCER and still i cant find a single thing. if anyone here can help, it will be greatly appreciated.
cheers
Phil

hey buds, thanks for the concern , i found out it wasnt a problem with the wiring....i did sound odd at first. it came out to be a combination of missing lights and their situations. sorry that.
cheers
