urgent help installing REAR STRUT BAR

K, I finally got the chance tonight to install the Rear strut bar in my 2003 US lancer.... k, I cut open the carpet, now I see 2 bolts.. the one that's higher has some sort of disc right under it.. is this the correct one to loosen and then bolt the bar to or what??
please help

its just that ive been tying to loosen that bolt and its twisting real weird i just dont want to screw something up =)

There should be 3 bolts. Two low, and 1 ( the strut) is higher. You can turn the strut nut all day long by hand and it won't do anything. I don't have that rear strut bar, but I think the two bolts flush with the sheet metal are what you're going for. Front or rear shouldn't matter, I believe they are symetrical.

thanks guys I got that bar installed early this morning!! yup the middle one will turn and turn forever, the one furthest to the car seats I used to install it.

Thanks again and mad props to engineerboy on here for the rear strut boy is that thing strong!! (and cheap)
