Im a college student and my budget is only 5k. I've been searching up what cars to buy and I just can not look away from Lancers. I dont know much about cars but I've talked to my friends and done my research about the cost of maintenance (yearly) and im getting different answers. Some people say that Mitsubishi is cheap to maintain, but some say its super expensive and unreliable.

So again, my budget is 5k and the Lancers I have found within the price have 200km+ mileage on them. Is it okay to get a car with this amount of mileage? If yes then why and if not then why not? How much would the maintenance be for this car?

Sorry for all the questions, I really want a Lancer but If its not advisable to purchase one within this price range then please tell me so I can move on lol.

I just need a decent looking "sport-ish" car that will replace my SUV thats about to break down any minute. Thank you.

note: I live in Toronto, Canada maybe that'll help with cost wise.
