Muffler delete affects on ecu

I have a 2013 lancer gt and want to get a muffler delete. I was told this could mess up my ecu and was wondering if anyone knew if this would happen. Is it also worth it to get rid of the resonator as well? i was having trouble finding info online about the ecu so thank you in advance.

@2013gtlancer Shouldnt affect much but should give a ya just a bit more sound. I have an Scion XB as my DD & I removed the 2nd CAT to get a bit more sound out of it. (been doing that for years) The CAT & muffler are aft of the O2 sensor so it shouldnt affect the ECU
