Headers

Just wanted to know if anyone has installed any headers for our cars, and if made any difference. I was thinking of installing the ones from Vibrant.

I've done the short ram intake from Injen
and a catback from Magnaflow , just thinking that headers might help.

of course they will help.. but you have to re-install them when you get emissions checks because you remove the 1st cat..

It's the biggest hp/tq gainer of all the bolt-on mods you can get for the Lancer.
Other options are:
RPW - biggest gain with dyno sheet to prove it. Includes downpipe.
RRM - can be used with their turbo kit. Manifold only.
RMR - manifold only.
Kamikaze - also includes downpipe.

I was told by the vibrant guy here in Canada that they do make them for our cars. The Vibrant Lancer that they had made, had them installed. I belive it is in the Performance Car and Sound Magazine for May 04

Then what's holding you back? That's the only reason I'm not getting one. Ca is hard on emissions testing.
