Where is the How to install a short Shifter?
Remove center console (plenty of "fun" plugs and screws"
Remove stick
Put nylon sockets onto new stick
Install new stick
Reinstall center console
It's a lot of steps, but they're all pretty straight forward. I suggest you use cups or baggies to keep the screws seperated by section just to make reinstallation easier.
