assassin - are you already sold on the lancer? or have you thought about any other cars?

i'm biased towards the neon... 100 lbs lighter, 12 more hp, and it's been around for a while. the 2nd gens have done pretty well in the reliability department.. etc etc.

not to pick a fight on a lancer board i am just throwing it out there.

lol. One of the few posts that actually makes me laugh out loud. But just to let ya know, if I got to do it all over again I wouldnt have gotten the OZ cause IMO its not worth it if your gonna get new wheels and a body kit. So just to let ya know.

I got the OZ cause fake wood grain makes my head hurt.

 

i wrecked my civic i just want a car and not do anything to it with body kit or nothing no rims thats why i want oz rally maybe all ill do is spears a motorized dvd player thats allll

i'm not sure why y'all are getting all high and mighty on the neon. get cute all you want, they're both economy cars one of them just happens to have a better power/weight ratio. i would think on a car board people would be able to be a little less bigoted... that's the way real enthusiasts tend to be, at least. *shrug*

i got mine for 15,800 out the door. but don't get anything that's already installed on the car. they hella rip you off. the rmr intake is like 150 and you can do it yourself and get another exhaust, like RRM and RRM's struts too. build off a regular OZ. good luck man, hope you feel better too.

 

RRIIGGHHTT Dyno im just expressing my opinion dont get all high and mighty on us ok assasin just go with what u had in mind in the first place wont find your answer here , too many diffrent views .If your just gonna dress it up then yeah a lancer would be your pick because its cheap and the aftermarket will embrace it eventually good luck dude

 

I don't know why people didn't expect some sort of Lancer bias on this forum of all places given its nature...

 

I was thinking of trading the Lancer in for a used Civic DX. what do you guys think? the guys at ricemeporium.com seem to think it's a good idea.

 

it's not the bias, it's the "but it's a neon". generally car enthusiasts can have a discussion without resorting to that sort of comment...
