Claudius is talking about better tyres.
Off course if you fit cheap tyres you will slide more and you don't care about them, but you will be faster on the ring with p zero assimmetrico, or maybe road slicks as a032, bridgestones, p zero corsa or similar.

You just hurt my eyes really bad with that close-up of your ORANGE SIDE REPEATERS!
Oh, what are these small calipers in the front for? Were you driving on ice?
I guess so, telling from the tires...
Hey, get yourself some slicks and clear side repeaters.
Check them out on:

The tires are a tiny bit wider, as you said. They are also a little bit higher, since they are still 45s although being 235s.
Now the thing is, with 4 people in it (or dedeffa, that fatass
) the tires in the back touch inside the wheelarches. I thought of putting one more click bump, what do you think? Will probably slide more when lifting off...

I just love the orange lights! Those clear ones are for posers, who need their car to pick up underage girls. I will keep posting pix of these 'oranje lampjes' once in a while!
With regard to the tires:
I can lap the Ring in safe 8:20 min with my car (using these normal tires). I fully understand that with the softer compound tires you suggest, I could be faster.
But those tires cost almost twice as much and only last a few laps! End of discussion.
Next year, I will race in an EVO 7 (Nürburgring LP race car -3L specials) on slicks. Then we will see......
I would still like to see our sunny boys on the Ring soon! Other race tracks are for whoosies
Only real Evo-men can master the Ring
Brakes: does size really matter?

Retail price for the Bridges Potenza GS compound is 1,539 FRF here (with my discount, hehe). www.xe.com
8:20 sounds good, if you can do that with those tires, I dont see the point in going there just to do less, it's far away. The ring is mainly for Porker (=püssy) drivers I thought.
Has that changed since our Dutch (=mobile home) drivers made it there??

Claudius, I think your riding yourself deeper and deeper into shiat!!
You'll have to be hardman No.1 to be taken around the Ring in 8:20 and not flinch, you know. I intend to at least try, but I've been taken round at about 9 minutes and that was quite an experience. We'll see next summer won't we
