I had a local shop to port the head cost 300 both intake/exhaust and around the valves( I have noticed some places that just port the intake and exhaust side to match the gasket abd dont remove the valves, my head was completely polished under valves included). When I go turbo I will smooth out the intake side, right now it is left a little rough to help the gas atomize. To match the intake another 75. I havent had it on the dyno, and for some reason after I got the rrm pb my gtech no longer worked right. As far as overall feel, I think I lost a little on the low end but really gained alot on the high, This was more noticeable with the RRM PB.

Steel and coated exhaust manifolds WILL change colors as they heat/cool.

Did you notice a diference with the pistens or were they the same as the stock but stronger? (ie. do you get better compression??)

If he did it'd probably be attributed to the size of his ring gaps moreso than the pistons themselves. They're stock compression pistons.
