Thinking to paint stockies black

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43919

that looks not bad at all on yellow evo, i got silver i think it would look ok,
also as you can see front headlights inside are painted black....

How much would it cost to paint wheels profesionally, or is it possible to do it
by yourself?

I think the stock rims in black would look pretty good. Just make sure to get them powdercoated, not just painted. I think that would cost a couple hundred dollars. One thing to consider is that most of that cost is setup, so if you have some friends that want to get things powdercoated black as well, you could split the cost between all of you.

dont get them powdercoated. go buy sandpaper (150 and 220), grey engine primer spray paint, and black ENAMEL rim paint. i already painted my front 2 rims with this and will have the other 2 painted by tomorrow. it looks real GOOD. dont waste your money on powdercoating and when u get a scuff or scratch on it you will have to get them re-powdercoated. this way you can just re-paint them yourself. it takes about 30 mins to sand the rim down. then apply 1-2 coats of primer. then 2 coats of the black rim paint and thats it. just try to do it in a paint booth if you can gain access to one. if not then just make sure **** doesnt fall on the rim once you finish spraying it (ie cat hair and crap). hope that helps, i will post some pics of mine tomorrow when im done. later.
