Mirror question

I was looking at these mirrors that i saw on this lancer a few weeks back and they turned out to be around $350. SO scratch that, i was looking on ebay and i found these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33649
i know we have all seen them and stuff but how hard would it be to, i guess shave of the lights so its smooth and then i would get them painted. It would look pretty good if i could get it smooth enough but what would i use to put on there and all that stuff??

If I were you I would probably just save up some money and try to get the real mirrors...because I think that if you shaved the light part of the ebay mirrors....they would crack and then you would have a bigger problem on your hands.....good luck

I've seen those on ebay without the lights, and even seen them on Lancers after they were installed. Keep looking, I'm sure they'll go up for sale again. Last price I saw for them was $70/pair though.

you get what you pay for. i bought something similar and had mounting problems. also the mounting plate they give you has a different look than the original. i bought the power mirrors and the wiring is jacked up. they don't work half the time. i'd buy a better quality one.
