Help!!! ~ This Is Bs~
Ok i bought my car it was the demo car that people test drove from my dealership ok so i got it cheaper. Alright I go and get a wheel alingment from pep boys and they asked me if i got into a accident with my car. I go no i havent and then they told me that it looks like my car has been in a accident and there might be body flex. I was like WTF? im bringing it to the dealership tomorrow is there anything i can do about this problem? when i bought the car they never told me about any accidents that the car has been in or anything of that matter at all. If there is body flex what can i do about it or what can they do about it becuase i dont have much money and i think that they should pay for everything for trying to cheat me. Is there a law against this? is there anything i can do to be prepard to say oor to do when i go in tomorrow? I need HELP~~~!!!!
As hard as it might be, I know cuz i've dealt with my mitsubishi dealer enough, is not to go in there and start tearing people new a$$hole's. Tell them what Pep Boys said and ask them to look at it. If there is a problem, it should be covered under warranty and would cost you nothing.
If they refuse to fix it, which I doubt they would then you might have to tear some new a$$hole's and try talking to another mechanic besides Pep Boys to get a "second opinion". If they find a problem you can try talking to the dealer again or get advice from a lawyer. Even though it was a demo the warranty should still be the same and if it was in an accident I think they would have to fix it before selling it. Not sure though. Lots of gray areas, loopholes, fine lines, etc. with dealerships which, if they don't cooperate with you, you might have to speak to a lawyer. Most likely though they would fix the problem without a big hassle. Hope that helps.

the only advice i have is check out www.carfax.com the ins company's ahve to report any accident claims on vehicles and they would be able to find it. hope that helps and hope your **** gets fixed man
Not that this will help you too much, but I've heard of body flex and bent frames from cars being loaded, and secured improperly during transported, especially on auto carrier semis. My mitsu dealer actually told me a story about a car they sold where this happened, and they replaced the car for free. If he was telling the truth, then you should be in good hands. Good luck with that!

Hrm.. take it to the dealer like he said if they do find a problem with it but they refuse to fix it then you should call a lawyer or call the B.A.R (bureu of automotive repair) they handle all the reports of shops and dealerships that try to screw customers and they will usually get to the bottom of things.

do you believe pepboys more than the dealer? you must have some crappy dealer. most of pepboys mechanic, unless he is the head ASE certified mechanic is only good for minor repairs. if somebody tells you that get a second opinion from another mechanic, maybe another dealer.
i hope u didn't say "i bought my car here and my mechanic said u sold me a car that was in an accident" i mean if the dealer was mean enough to do that and not tell u, they could be mean enought to say "no your car wasn't in an accident "

they shouldnt sell u a damaged car and not tell u about it
