Yeah mine is full coverage, i have no accidents, no tickets or anything. Its through AMA though which is essentially the government. Get lots of perks with it like free towing and such forth which is nice. Insurance is just really pricey up here. I would be paying 10k if i didn't do a drivers ed thingy.

Do these rates you're quoting include the mods you've made to the car ? If we make any changes (even as basic as intake, or wheel size) we have to report it to the insurance company and they will increase the rate or choose not to insure the car. If you dont tell them about your mods your insurance is as good as useless. A friend had illegal tint on his car - got into an accident and insurance claimed the tint made it difficult for him to see at night so they didnt pay our the claim. Another friend had exhaust/intake and insurance didnt pay the claim as modifications to the vehicle had been done. Do you guys let your insurance company know everytime you change something ?

No, my girlfriends old Eclipse was lowered with rims, exhaust and illegal tint and when it was totaled they paid out. More then it was worth too.

Smile How Much to Insure Your Lancers ?

Insurance companies are nuts, I made two calls and on the second call they deducted more than a $100cdn from my annual policy.

I'am paying now $875cdn($648us) per year guranteed fixed rate for the next two years.

i think i paid for my oz the first time 720 it was a mistake becuase they said i never sent my previous insurance papers to prove i had insurance so i had to pay a lot but in the end i got a 500 check for overpayment. last time i paid 430 every 2 months but now it shoudl go down because my policy just ended (every 6 months) so it should be lower now. i use mercury btw
