Thumbs up my car is running good

i just wanted to post hits cus i was reading hobie's post about how everyone just complains about thier can running bad on these boards...

i have had my car for over a year and i waited a few months till i started modding it...ive been a member here since aug 2003(under a different name) and have learned a lot from everyone here...

my engine mods so far are AEM cai w/ bypass valve, rrm piggyback, magnecore wires, greddy exhaust v.1, also had kamikaze header on...but sold it to go with the piggy, plus i got pulled over and had to get my car smogged....

anyways...i have never had any problems...i dont always run the car hard but...it gets its share of hard driving every now and then....i ..have even taught my GF to drive stick recently on this car. And thast wasnt the smartest thing to do but, the clutch is still really strong...

just wanted to let you guys know!

update: got the new maps for the piggy back last saturday....let me tell you guys...there is not another mod like it for that price(cost of the piggy) the car ran great with the old maps on it now it runs even better and hell of a lot faster...ROb wasnt messin around when he said that throttle resposne got a lot better....you will not be disappointed with a purchase....

RRM one of the greatest lancer supporters ever!!!!! you guy ROCK

andrew's just mad cause other peoples cars are working fine. post moving *****!

on a lighter note...i've had a blast owning my car. reading through these forums has taught me more than i ever thought i'd know about cars. granted i still don't completely understand why i buy some of the parts i buy (i just trust you guys!)....and i don't know jack about putting a turbo in a car....but i'll get there.

robert happy go lucky on a monday. you guys rule!

same here...... i've had my car for a year now. 20,000 miles and still running like the day i drove it off the lot. i'm honestly not worried at all. my last car was a 95 mirage w/ 178,000 miles on it and it ran like new. i'm VERY happy with my car.
