Screw in my tire....opinions please?

well, there's the ugliness...(no, not the scuffed up rim, that's a different story)...

i have no idea how long this screw has been in my tire. i noticed it when i was waxing my car this weekend. tire pressure didn't drop at all over the weekend, but if i move the screw at all air comes out. can low pro tires be sealed using something from a car store or am i better off buying a pair from ebay?

Go to the local gas station and get it plugged. If you have the money just buy a spare tire, but it's like a $10 plug or a $100 tire basically. As long as there's no damage to the sidewall it shouldn't be a problem.

The proper way to fix a punture is to use a patch, plugs are only for temporary use, the best method is to use a combination plug patch, then you can have some confidence on the repair.

yea just go to Advanced Auto Parts and they will tell ya to buy a plug patch, most of them are orange so that might help ya out by finding them...and then u will pull the screw out and with this tool u will push the plug patch in as far as it can go, and then pull back out..and ur tire plugged and patch...other than that, u can just get another tire which will be a b****!!!

If there is a discount tire in your area they will do it for free. My dealership did it for free for me, but maybe that is because I am always there.....

I had this happen to me. Drive to a tire shop and have them remove it and patch it if they need to. In my case, the screw turned out to be 3/8" long so it didn't even go past the tread
