Anyone have any info on the Lower DIN AC controls as seen in the 05 Evo 8 MR and the JDM Evo's:



I want it but i need pricing and i dunno where to get it from

why would we watn it? so that you can out a custom tv to fill the upper area and still ahve your ac controls.

I want it cuz i want my AC controls down low and my computer controls where the AC controls are stock and my screen in the spot above it.

A few things about that, those knobs as pictured will fit ANY DIN sized openings (on all cars). Also those knobs are electronic whereas our stock ones are mechanical. That means that there's more than meets the eye with this. We also have to get the motors that take the electronic signal and apply it to the mechanical lines. And yeah if this IS in fact available it would have a VERY hefty price tag

Is that possible for our car since the panel is mechanical and not electric? My friend wanted to do something similar to his M3 but he ran into problems going from mechanical to electric.

Autobacs sells the cf pieces but they charge an arm and a leg. $250 for the radio A/C part and $175 for the part the goes around the stick shift. They arent real cf, but they do say ralliart.

kareem havent this issue been discuss already.
remember years ago Celm had this conversion piece for sale.
someone else try it on the lancer, but it doesnt work.
