I was thinking of some quick ways to make my car run nicer and mabye add a little hp... would a S-AFC be a decent investment to make on a N/a car with aftermarket intake, exhaust, intake mani and throttle body

The problem is that the S-AFC can't add fuel past a certain point. There's about a billion threads on this, and you could easily find answers by running a search. Try giving that a shot for more info.
