how much to fix?
some guy in a shop truck decided that he would hit me yesterday before the sclc meet. how much do you guys think it'll cost to fix it...i sure as hell hope it doesnt come out of my pocket...but just wanted to get a rough idea....
prolly a good 500 - 700... they will have to repaint the quarter panel... and pull that dent... as for the bumber... doesnt seem to need replaced... some sanding and bondo will fix it... then they will have to paint that... (depends on how much labor and cost of paint...)
Really depends on the your paint job. If it's metallic (three stage paint) I would imagine closer to $1000, at least around my area. With three stage paint the bumper and lip will need to be taken off *labor fees* prepped and painted in three stages *labor/paint/hazmat fees*. Then the panels dent to be fixed and painted the same *labor/paint/hazmat fees*. If not metallic paint I believe the damage can be "spot" fixed for much cheaper.
Around $150 bucks just to do the spot.... unless they are planning to do the whole bumper then is $350... good luck
Around $250 for painting and sanding the bumper and $500 for the quarter panel if done at th ee dealer, private garage will do it for less, but becareful on what type of paints(less solids or more solvents) they are going to use.

well im planning on getting a kit since this happened, my friend and i will probably do that body work and install of the kit and have it proffesionally painted by a shop recomemded to me by another member...i know the paint job alone will run about $1000 for the painting of the kit...now i just have to decide which kit i want to go with
