Hello all im new posting on the boards here. I have a 03 lancer es and was looking into getting rims. I found a set that i think are pretty decent for the money and wanted to see what others thought of them. here is a link http://www.wheelmax.com/Specials/bsa/305.gif

 

I don't like them... sorry... as for suggestions, I like my stock OZ rims. (I realize they don't fit your bolt pattern but you might be able to find something like them)They are light weight, functional, and I think they're pretty. I don't go for chrome bling.

First of all make sure that they will fit the ES bolt pattern. Then make sure that you like the way you think they would look on your car. I got ADR Spades from www.WheelsNext.com Some people said that they did not like them too much but like a million others said that it looked tight. I was just getting opinions because I had already made up my mind that I was gonna get them. I just did not like any of the wheels from WheelMax and WheelsNext and WheelMax had the ADR Spades when I was looking to get rims, but WheelsNext had the better price. Just remember as long as you like them then get them, but like I said make sure they will fit the ESs bolt pattern it is not the same as the LS and OZ

also this would be the first mod to my car atm. i have almost 800 bucks saved would it just be better for me to instead of getting rims get other mobs? say maybe sri and a rrm ecu piggyback and an exhaust. the only reason im thinking of doing that is because winter is coming up in a couple months and then id have to change my new rims back to stock. Just looking for suggestions and tips thanks all.

i really dont like the rims, much better styles out there imo.

id prefer to get the pb, a custom exhaust, and a sri for taht money, but not everybody prioritizes everything in the same way so get waht you want.

 

I totally agree with that. If you got to switch back to stock in winter then just do the other stuff first and then get new rims in the spring... that way you can have stuff done to your ride in the meantime instead of having a set of shiney rims sitting in your garage. But like pgmike said, do what you want, you can't go wrong with what you feel is right...

And no matter what anyone says if you like the rims then get them. It's you that has to live with them. Just don't get spinners or I'll find you and put super glue on the spinners and pee on your wheels, cause I am mean like that.
