ok the other day i started hearing noises from my intake i got down to look at the filter when i noticed that the the weld on the part of the intake that bolts to the car was broke and there was 2 splits in the pipe on eather side if the weld i mean they arnt small theu are about 2 inches long what should i do i got the intake from a friend of mine about 5 months ago and it was fine should i call aem and tell them and try to get a new part or am i just s@#t out of luck

Since you got it from a friend, I don't think AEM will help much. Maybe have him/her call and ask about warranty?

Or just weld it back up maybe?

 

you should just be able to buy that lower pipe from AEM. try summit or calling them directly.
