Hello all!

I am new to This make and model of cars, i just bought a used 2002 lancer oz rally after getting rid of my 93 civic ex. Now i was wondering, what are some of the lower cost ways of getting more performance out of these engines? i still have not decided if i want to swap the whole engine out or just build the hell out of this SOHC, i know i will eventually turbo it, but that will take lots of money saving. so in the mean time i would like to get the most out of what i have. Most of you have probably had these for awhile and have tested out alot of things, there fore i am coming to you for advice.

Also i live in southern california, so if any of you are aorund here who know of some shops who will do good work, or you know what your doing and wanna pound some brews and help me with the installs please let me know.

I guess we can forgive you for now for being a newbie. Take advantage of the search feature and all of the questions you just asked will be answered with a few searches. Believe me, it's easier that way than posting a bunch of threads that have already been covered and getting flamed by some of the people that cruise this forum.

 

well said Lively, but on another helping note. If you go to a forum to run a search make sure you go down the the lower left hand part of the page and bring up the older threads first. Most information will only be in the last 45 days and there is a wealth of info beyond that.
