Can a 4" Tip on a mufflier fit on a Lancer? Like Will it be cuttin it kinda close to the bumper? or what?? anyone have a 4inch?

yes i believe it is. so i think the 4" tip will fit.

it will fit, the only thing id be worried about is it burning the back bumper

im gonna buy a universal fit muffler for the lancer online on ebay. im deciding whether to get a 4" or 3.5"

Universal mufflers are gay. 3.5 tip is good on an OZ or ES.

Yes. The original Buschur cat-back had a 4" tip. If not seated correctly it will melt your bumper, but seat it correctly and you're fine.

I certainly don't think it looks "too big". In fact it sits so snugly that it is, in my opinion at least, quite a perfect fit.

 

yea it fits fine i just recently had mine put on and it is fine just watch how it comes out because if you follow the pipe strait out like mine it comes out at an angle kinda point to the right side of the car a little but ont much

 

the greddy is 4.5 in and it fits perfectly its also a deep sound not some ricer but dont forget the pipping too dont go and just get some muffler only thats just dumb

 

i might just go w/ the 3.5" cause the 4" is kinda hard to see. haha.. Like i dunno. thanks for so many ppl replying though! =)

 

if you get a 4 inch universal muffler they are gonna have to make at leats an axel back section for it so you can just have them make it that much lower to accomidate for a larger tip you could but a friggin garbage can under there is you wanna

 

i have a universal muffler with a 4" tip. i had a local muffler shop install it and they just welded it on a pipe to make it an axleback. theres a pic in my registry.
