So Loud!!!

Ahh! My car is so loud now. I thought I wanted it that way but it's getting annoying. I have kamikaze headers, and 2.5" piping after that all the way back (no cats) and a straight through muffler. What should I do that's not going to hurt my performance? Is a 2.5" high flow cat going to hurt? And would a resonator get rid of the occational popping sound? Thanks for any advice.

putting the stock cat back in will quiet it down for sure...i used to have kamikaze, test pipe, catback, etc...and i got annoyed of it being too loud also...so i put the cat back in and it was so much better..plus it helps bring back a lil torque as well..

/\ exactly! I was getting complaints from neighbors about my car being too loud (plus it was annoying me too), so I pulled out my test pipe and put my cat back in. I have kamikaze headers and a magnaflow catback - and with that test pipe, wow it was loud. Put your cat back in and you'll quiet it down and not lose a whole lot of HP - plus like BL2k2 said, you'll get more torque.

Defintely put your 2nd cat back in if it's too loud. You won't feel much of a loss up top and you can feel the low-end gain again. If you're interested in a 2.5" highflow cat PM me; I have a brand new one from Catco.
