Thank god for this forum, this post, and all you knowledged Lancer owners .. or else i would of gave up and takin my car to the muffler shop to get that dam O2 sensor out.. Worked on it all day and couldnt get my O2 sensor off the Cat and didnt want to strip the wires. Until i read this post and found out where the O2 is connected to so i can remove it from my car and not try to take the sensor off while under the car.. Not much room to work with.

What kind of o2 sensor tool did you guys try that stripped the nut? Mine comes right off every time with the proper amount of WD40. I have the kind that has the deep box wrench style teeth, and a small 1/2 inch spot for the ratchet.
