request: RRM SRI Installation

I have order my part from RRM and the only thing they send to me is the K&N Filter + Heat shield. i got the intake installed but couple question.

1. How do i install the BAR that come with the intake i don't know where to bolt it on to. cause there isn't that many place to bolt it on. there is a spot but it connected with ground wire.

2. The Heat Shield that come with it don't even do ****. and can't even get a good installation on it.. how is it goign to sit still if there isn't any BOLT on. it Fiber Glass. if i get it to sit in. it not covering the heat that is coming from the engine how can i fix that problem please.

for 1.. theres about 4 billions pics of installed SRI's on this site.. and ive noticed that 90% of the time no one uses that damn heat sheild.. cause whe the hell cares... your cars going to be moving.. getting fresh air.. and i guess if you mount it 3 inches from the headders.. yeah HS all the way... *** for mounting...



Its MEANT to be grounded.. dissconnect the gound bolt / wire.. stick the stable arm from the SRI to where it goes near the ground mount. get a longer bolt if you gotta.. feed the whole thing onto one bolt.. tighten and enjoy.. as for the HS... you call.. K&N's are high heat filters.. ide have no worries

really man. . . . I found the directions from RRM very concise..... not mention I found them MORE CONCISE than the HOW TO posted in THIS THREAD. It's true the HS doesn't do much, I was able to get it to sit pretty nice, and it does look nice. I (as you can see) am still a newb myself, but come on...... there really ARE a million pics/how to's for SRI installation
