A/C Problem

couple months ago the a/c stopped working so my sister took it to the dealership to get it fixed.. they charged her like 100 dollars for parts and everything... a month or 2 later there was a squealing sound coming from the passangers side when ever you turn on the a/c.. on 1 its small but you can hear it and on 4 its real loud and annoying..... have any of you guys ever had this problem and fixed it

Most likely it's your a/c belt on too tight/too loose. I would go back to the dealer and tell them the problem, it probably wasn't adjusted properly. If they charged you for a new belt etc. It still should be covered under the labor for the first charge.

There is also a small possibility it's the alternator belt as well. Either way it's part of the system they should look at it etc.

You could try to adjust it yourself, but seeing as you just paid for the work.. go there first.

Mmm that looks like your heater/blower fan.

Well that's completely hilarious. Did it just fall off, maybe all you have to do is bolt it back up?

Please keep me updated, I think that would come out under warranty

BTW: it can't be healthy for that thing to keep on spining, I'm sure it's eating something up!

^^^Glad to hear it was a cheap fix. My friend just had to replace his blower motor out of a GTP Grand Prix spending over $130 for it. Hope that was it...
