hood latch problem

hood latch problem
I was workin on my evo vii kit and i was fittin it on my car and i saw the the hood didnt have a thing where the latch hooks on too. I was thinkin about takin the part where the latch hooks on from the oem hood and puttin it on my evo vii hood. But i dont kno how about doin that. Any suggestions or options i can go about doin this?
