I was thinking of tint my tail lights, but i didnt know what i needed and how to do it, but its a good way to learn like i did with my headlights. I dont want a really really dark tint. Questions are:

What do i need?

What are the steps that i take?

How long does the whole process take?

VHT niteshades is what you need.

remove the tails and apply coats until it is dark enough for you... then put them back on the car. it should take about a day for it to dry completely, but you can probably put the lights back on the car after a few hours.

my friend's brother blacked out his tails on his SRT-4 and gets bagged by the cops for it all the time.

 

tail light tint. lots of options available. my advice is dont go cheap, or it will end up coming off as you wash the car and stuff

clean the tail lights real good. rinse off with water first. clean with rubbing alcohol real good. make sure you rinse all the alcohol off with water really good.

i started mine one night, and let them sit overnight just to be safe. mine have lasted almost 3 years now, and have not faded/cracked/scratched or anything at all.
