A/c

I live in south florida, and if you have never been here, and never heard of here, it is what you might call hot. well, extremely hot and humid. I dont know about most of you but in the dead of summer, with the windows tinted and the a/c blowin it just doesnt seem to be cool enough.. My question is does anyone know how to make the a/c blow harder? is there somethin that i can loosen in order to let a fan blower spin faster?

You should have the a/c serviced atleast once a year to keep it running good. i.e. cracked hoses, no crack in belt, no leaks. If you dont have a good charge of r-134a then it wont be as cold as it can be. I live in AZ (125 degrees summers no moisture at all) and for the most of my summer I delt with my a/c not blowing humidity for like a month. I took it in to have it serviced and now it blows cold air instead of that humidity. only thing I know of that will make a fully charged and functioning system blow colder is to change your system to r-12 but that cost a whole lot to change the entire system and maintain. for one lbs of r-12 here in AZ is about $30 compared to $10 for r-134a. r-12 is not enviroment friendly either. good luck.

^^^you can still get R-12? I thought they would have fazed out the HFC's by now. They were talking about that 10 yrs ago. Anyway, Lunchb0x what he said is true. You have an 02' so you may need to have the A/C serviced
