i have an 06 es without the rear folding seats, my question is, has anyone pulled them out to run an amp in the trunk, also i need to run my new 12 disk changer.

any info is appreciated...

 

The bottom half just pops right out. The upper half is in four parts. The sides kinda pop out and then you have to unbolt a couple things behind it. i couldnt help you get the actual seatback out though. never done it

 

you don't have to completely remove the back part just loosen the the bolts on the bottm and you should be able to fit wires through. I did it on my freind ES.

does anyone know what color the remote wire is on the factory harness? nevermind, got it!!!!

 

Is there anyone with an image or two depicting which direction i have to pull to get the rear sets up??? i tried pulling them straight up but that didn't work and i also tried rolling them forward such that the back of the cushion was moving towards the driver seat headrest. Any suggestions?

also has anyone run a power line from the engine compartment into trunk through the right fender. I looked for a way to go through the firewall but the only rubber grommet that isn't close to major components like the clutch goes from the left side under the dash to the inside of the right fender. Any ideas as to how i can get a wire from the right fender into the engine compartment. Ive installed many an amplifier but i want to make sure im getting this right seeing as how i plan on keeping this car for a while.
