I saw some product at Walmart last trip through the auto paint aisle that should be what you're looking for... Something about cleaning the yellow, nasty, ugly looking plastic headlamps.

plexus is good from what I've heard and so is Meguiar's plastx is great

plexus is on eBay and in marine/motorcycle shops and plastx is in most car shops and http://www.meguiars.com/?clear-plast...Cleaner-Polish

Both work really well and are a lot less than that kit

just my .02

Heard good things about Meguiars plastx... You should try that! The Walmart product was made by 3M, I believe.
