Honeycomb MAF HELP!

Today I was installing my new K&N SRI into my 02 Lancer LS. As I was taking out the MAF, the Honeycomb somehow got crunched in just a little bit I proceeded to install the intake and my car is now running great. Can this cause any problems that I might run into later on down the road? Im asking because Ive heard that the honeycomb iz very important.

Herez what im talking about

If you just happen to need a new "used" one, I just saw one on Ebay for $50 + shipping. But it sounds like it's fine for now...

I do not think is a lot of damage IMHO!

Try to stright the cells the best you can and re-install. Verify the idle and partial throtle for respnsiveness.

I think that you are fine!

I did the same thing although there was a bit less damage. I just carefuly bent it back into shape and about a year later still no problems.
