Yeah it happens to everyone at some point, so dont feel too bad.

The other day I had this ******* in a Expedition riding my *** down a street and I needed to turn into a driveway. Knowing this guy was gonna plow into the back I just took the turn quick without braking too much, and my right rear tire caught the concrete, lucky it only caught the very edge of the rim and only scratched it.

I woulda said **** em and just slowed down even more. Were pretty safe in our lancers, and i could use a good insurance claim. Just Kidding. But seriously, dont let other peoples action dictate your driving. Stay low and slow. Except on the track.

The same thing happened to me the other day while trying to parallel park. I took it to the my dealership and they made the tire look brand new and it didnt cost as much as buying a new tire.

Yeah, I already f*cked up one wheel (and even gouged out some tire rubber!). What made me mad was that this was at the 3rd ATM I went to. If my card had just worked at either of the first two ATMs, I'd be fine!

I have given up on having a nice car honestly. My wife has already scratched up the front door handle cups with her nails, has scuffed the rear bumper, and scratched one of the rim non-flangest on a curb, got in the car with hard shoes covered in sand and sratched the **** out of the flat entry bottom, as well as put a nice scratch in one of the doors. I am careful as ****, note every car around me, park away from non-nice cars or in tight spaces, and in general am a very good parker and careful with the rims and doors... her, not so much.

Sorry, it sounds like it is time to buy the wife a beater like an old civic for her to scratch up... no one cares about civics anyway!

I wish. She's been that way with every car, no matter how much I talk to her nicely about it or biatch about it. Love her to death... but her and cars just aren't a good mix. She is terrible as well letting me know if there is a mechanical problem, and to top it off she is a horrific driver. The only time I am comfortable letting her drive is in downtown NYC because then it pays to be a suicide driver... she is better than any taxi driver you have ever ridden with.
