problems changing my power steering pump
03 mitsubishi lancer es
my power steering line decided to blow apart so i had it put back together and it blew apart again. i was told that the regulator inside the pump was bad. so i got another line and bought a used pump and put it all on and now the power steering pump gets really hot within seconds of starting the car and smokes and still with no power steering. i jacked up the front of the car and bled the lines when i installed the pump so i know that's not the problem. can anyone help me?
