quick question. i want to put some lights under the passenger footwells to lighten up the cabin. the only place i can see to mount them is under theglove compartment but this is in the way. is it safe to remove without any problems?

 

watch out for air bag stuff, i put lights in my car but i mounted them under my seats, towards the front that is.. anyways i dont see why not, i dout you would hurt anything but i wouldnt disassemble too much.

 

Yup this piece has nothing to do with the air bag except to protect it from getting kicked by the passenger. Just snaps in and out I believe.
