RRM Intake painting

I just got the RRM SRI and i got a blue one... but they said it would take 4 weeks to get a red color..so i dont have the patience so im thinking about keeping it and painting it. could anyone recommend a way to paint this intake? i was thinking about sanding it and then spray painting it red with a dupli-color high temp heat spray paint... any suggestions?

Sounds fine to me. I painted mine black. It doesn't look perfect, but I only spent about 5 minutes working on it.

Take it to an auto body shop. They shouldn't charge more than $25
