changing timing belt

changing timing belt

hey guys how hard is to to change a timing belt, can it be a DIY job

Took me 11 hours straight! But the timing was the hardest to get right, besides having no air tools. I had to take out the starter carefully "jam" a pry bar in the flywheel in order the loosen the pulley bolt. After that, it was cake!

Do you need the car on a lift or will jack stands do?

Jack stands are all I have & they worked fine; just remove the front pass. side wheel.
