I was wanting to know what I would need to put cruise control on my 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer ES. Since my car doesn't come equiped with cruise is it possible? Is the ECU already programed for it and I just have to get the right parts for it or what? Also the same question applies for keyless remote, is the ECU already set up for it or what?

 

umm im not sure if you have figured it out yet or not but the 2006 lancer es does have cruse control. well mine does so idk why yours wouldnt. its on the left just under the blinker. get to your speed then press and hold the button at the end for a second or two then let off of everything and dont forget to put you feet back when you need to stop. o ya and when you brake it will slow down and turn off the cruise control then just move that nifty switch to the left and it will regain to the speed you had it set to. and to the right to take the speed or cruise control off

 

well thanks for the info but mine isnt equiped.... Im well aware of where it would be but mine doesnt have it I want to know how to put it on aftermarket.
