So my Lancer is a buy, what can i do and not do to my lancer that wont void the warranty?

 

you can put stickers on it and drive it carefully. Thats about it. Depending on the dealer, they might try to blame every failure on mods. (For example, if your windshield wipers suck, they will say its because you have a new exhaust and the sound vibrations mess up the angle at which the water is wiped from the glass) That just means that you should take off all mods before sending it back to the dealer to get fixed.

 

Like Bladed said, it depends on the dealer. I see you're in PA, so if you're not too far from Jersey, take it to Prestige in Turnersville...they're pretty understanding when it comes to mods.

what if i bough OEM parts and had them installed?

 

you would have oem parts on your car and keep your warranty.. but you would lose your left arm and ur right leg.. so u wouldn't be able to drive it...

 

You can wash it and look at it in the driveway.

Depends on the dealership. Some would refuse to do suspension work if you modified it in any way but others might let you go as far as you want. I know a guy who gets warranty work on a swapped WRX.

hey i did , that dealership is crazy stealing from people bro. I traded in my eclipse their for lancer. They won't void the warrenty but they will non stop ***** about aftermarket parts, i heard all hell with my eclipse heh heh. Now they have a completly messed up eclipse for sale 2006.
