I don't feel like popping in one cd at a time. I've ripped most of my cds to my pc and it seems the music server will not import mp3's. It has to be an audio track...

If I burn these audio tracks to DVD - will the music server start ripping them or will it think it's a DVD and not allow it?

Just curious if anyone has tried this... I might just give it a whirl this afternoon and find out....

 

Nope. Music server only imports regular audio CDs. Additionally, it will not even play mp3's from DVD data discs.

I'm kinda-sorta working on figuring out the music server's directory structure on the hard drive to make importing faster, but no real progress to report yet.
