Push button start on a GTS with tech pack

So I have a GTS with the tech pack, and I thought it would sweet if I just have to jump in the car and press a button to start it since the key is in my pocket and what not. Is this possible with the way the ECU is set up for the start with keyless start as it is now? I have been wanting to do it, but I am afraid of how this thing is wired up for the keyless as it is. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Don't you just have to turn a switch as it is?

Wow.... so anyone have anything resonable to say other than you don't want it. I just wanted to know if someone who knows any of the electronics of the car thinks it could be done easily. Why the do you think people would put them on cars where it is just as much work to turn the freaking key. I mean seriously guys, don't need to get burned for a simple question about if there would be any special tricks to this since the ECU is tied into the ignition because of the key less start. Its also the looks of having a glowing red button saying start that you push to start without any keys. Just to look cool. Shoot might as well add some HKS stickers for 20 more HP. This part is just an interior mod for looks. I know its not a hassle to freakin turn the key, just looks cool. If you don't have anything constructive to say please don't leave a response. I hate getting on here and having a bunch of bs post saying random crap about nothing the person is asking. So if anyone out there does have any ideas please let me know. My car not yours so please don't burn it unless I ask for your thoughts about what you think about such and such idea. Shoot then I am opening myself up to get burned.

See Chetman that is what I was thinking. I know I can just buy one of those eady install 100 buck buttons, but wondering if the ignition will have any problems with recognizing that is keyless and I don't need to turn the ignition. You know so I can just jump in the car with my key in my pocket, hit the button and go.

It was a joke man lol Im just saying if you want the push button then you bought the wrong car. Installing a push button yourself sounds like nothing but problems to me, especially since the Lancer has starting problems, for some.. its only happened to me once but thats cause I stalled it hahaha
Im no mechanic so maybe its an easy job.. and maybe there wont be any problems... but its sounds easier to have bought a Nissan or a Lexus

Technically, I was just asking a question. I don't have the FASTkey system, so I don't know how it works.

As for the other guys, I can clean the thread if you'd like. I don't like to see flaming any more than you do.
