I talked to a few shops here in BC, and none would tint my headlights for me. I think its a legal issue or something.

wow that look really nice.
did u had to cut the overlays or it came with proper fitment?

with headlights, does the overlay affect HID?

whats the level of difficulty to instal this. i had a bad experiene working with overlays cuz of all the airbubbles that i couldnt get rid of. came out pretty ugly.

do not get overlays...they will just give u a headache...especially with the tails. definitly go with a sheet of vinyl...its easier and u got more play with it. Well it is tint so it is going to effect HID to a certain extent.
headlights were easy.
tails were difficult...def a 2 person project.

I was browsing around for bulbs and came across this interesting product:

http://www.automotivelightingusa.com...oducts_id=1334

Two things:
1. Has anyone used anything similar to this? If so, does it reduce the amount of light able to shine through by much?

2. Enjoy it!

I acutally hace that at my house...I just don't like the perminentess of it. If I decide to sell my car...all I gota do is heat it up and pull it off. the paint is gonna be a real paint to get off but I like the way the spray looks....its much darker and matched the black color better. I'm not sure how much it reduces light emisions though..

i used to have them. they are not permanent, you can actually take them off anytime with goof off and a lil bit of arm strengths. i used them first to have an idea of how it would look. and i loved it. so now i am looking for a shop in toronto to tint them professionally with films.

does anyone know any good shops? i think fxauto does it but they kinda overcharge everything.

It's sooo easy to do it yourself, just go down to your local paint shop & ask for OMNI PAK (brand), Master Blend EZ Touch, for enamels, lacquers, vinyls, & acrylics, spray pattern DV16. I got this stuff from a guy that works on performance mods for a living & sprayed a few lights on customers' cars. You need to sand the finish off of the lights (320 extra fine sand paper) & clean them, then spray many even coats. It took me 1 full day w/many coats & dry time. A shop might take longer to do them. I'll post pics of what I did in a little.
