Hi, i just bought a 2008 Lancer and i was wondering if anyone could provide me with a suggested list of mods that would probably fit the budget of a kid in highschool. This is what i had in mind, it'll probably run me high at ~4,000-5,000

-Apex'i N1 muffler and exhaust (a guy from youtube said he'll get it to me cheap)

get a fart can and SRI. no need for any of the ricey body kits n crap. save the rest of your money for a turbo, or another car.

 

save your money on the body kit and get a full header back exhaust (Injen's should cost about as much as your body kit). Also instead of a piggy back, id recommend getting a header from RRM. Everything else looks good.

or you could save all that money, and save for a little while longer and get a turbo kit from RRM. I've been saving every little extra strap of cash since last June and I'm not even close to saving enough for the turbo. I might try to get a third job to get it, but I don't have any time as it is to have 2 jobs. Moral of the story is, dream big, hope for the best. Even if u phail, your a winner. (lol i wish, then i would have a turbo)

 

- Fujita SRI/Injen CAI
- RRM axle back exhaust (or the upcoming Injen catback exhaust if you can afford it)
- RRM pulley
- RRM Rear Sway bar
- Tints/lighting upgrade

Why dont you just wait till Mitsu releases the OEM turbo kit and go from there?

 

SERIOUSLY.....i would wait to buy anything...things r over priced rite now....wait till things r coming out from different companies when they lower their prices n suchh...and alsoo....dont RICE ur carr....thats justt uglyy....

I would probably start with rims, tires, tint, maybe stereo and then save up until the warranty expires. After its expired I would go crazy on the engine and you should have plenty of options by then. I, myself, might be in an 08 gts within a couple of months.

 

Well i would definately wait for that especially since its warranted
