Winter Tires

I'm in the market for winter tires for a 2008 DE. The tires on now, the original all-season, are Yokohama P205/60R16 91H. I am looking at a set of Goodyear Nordic 205/60R16 91S. The only difference being a 91H on there now, and 91S on the Goodyears. What does this number mean? Is it okay to buy the Goodyears? Just trying top be safe, as I have a newborn baby.

Thanks!

The '91' is the load index and the 'S' or 'H' is the speed rating.

S 112 mph 180 km/h
H 130 mph 210 km/h

I think both S and H will just do fine for you. Snow tires usually have a lower speed rating.

thanks guys

Another question about tires. I think I am going to Canadian Tire to get the tires put on. Do I or they need to do anything special because of the TPMS? I want to make sure it is working correctly. Thanks!

IMHO, I would not go to Canadian Tire to get some tires... Well, at least, I would not let them play with my TPMS sensors. (not at my local CT, maybe other places are better...)

I personally went with Nokian Hakka Rsi tires for my GTS, they are a bit more expensive, but well worth it.
