Hey guys,

I'm just about to start the process of installing performance parts onto my 2008 lancer ES. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on which exhaust system I should go with. I would prefer something that has a low, deep sound to it. Also, if anyone has any installation tips, that would be helpful.

that is the new Injen header-back exhaust. It's the best exhaust system around and will give you the most power. There is a video clip on the product page, it sounds pretty sweet.

after that the Magnaflow catback is the best option. It will require cutting the exhaust. But the gains are pretty sweet. And because it's a magnaflow it sounds brilliant

Your other exhaust options are pretty much the same.
These are all axle back systems, around the same price, give the same performance increase. And vary in sound. So do some youtube searching and see which one you think sounds the best
