Warning: Do not buy these!!

i go em off ebay..good price...these 9006 - 80watt and 9005 - 100 watt while stock is 9006 - 51 watt and 9005 - 60 watt...the bulbs also came with white grease that u put in the connectors..i jus checked em and the grease has turned pink but no melting noticeable anywhere

my only question is can i be sneaky, put in my stock ones, take to dealer and get em to get me new headlights...

Yes it will look sneaky. You should know better than to put 100w bulbs and stock bulbs wouldn't generate enough heat to melt that little reflector piece.

I believe you would.
But does the discoloration reduce the brightness noticeably?

my lo's were the ones that were 80..my high were 100...i think it burnt it also because the bulb sit a lil bit higher up closer to that plastic piece than the stock bulbs..the 1st set i got from a diff guy were all ****ed up 1 bulb was brighter than all the rest..and all of em were off center..

you should be fine, just put an HID in there and fire it up. it shouldnt melt anymore. If it was your fog lights then the entire thing would have melted in to one hunk of metal and plastic.
