Can a GTS Reach 200+ HP with Bolt-on?
As for the original post, I would say that assuming Kenjuro is talking about bhp, I would say its possible to get to 200 hp from bolt ons with an 09 GTS, but its a waste of money. The best performance you can get from an n/a 4 cylinder comes through the suspension - you're not going to get any power from it, and the little power you do get from it will cost you quite a bit. If you're looking for power, just get a turbo or a car with a larger displacement engine. If you're looking for a somewhat quick, peppy car that you can make handle well, then I would say you can't go wrong with a GTS.
I would say get an intake, maybe an exhaust/axleback, maybe headers, and tune it. Then go for broke on the suspension - get some quality struts, quality springs that'll drop the car about an inch or so, strut bars and anti-sway bars all around, and get yourself some good summer tires.
Just my opinion. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
not off the bat from what ive been told, but if they dig deeper they will find out. and they might reflash it back without knowing theyre even doing anything because u havent told em u have a flash. u might want to msg bill@works n ask him for more specifics or hit their website worksevo.com

My local CARMAX has a used 09 GTS for 15,9K, 6K miles, is that a good deal? I built one on the Mitsu website and with all the offers it came up to $17,285. Whicked white or rotor glow metallic.
The base is actually $22k. You still get a lot of bang for you buck with that though, and its a freaking sweet looking car. I would love to get one but its not happening.

I have said this before, and this isnt directed at your swankin, but I think you guys should be more concerned about TQ not HP. The main reason is, this is a TQ engine, not a HP engine, its geared towards TQ. The realization of that can be seen just by looking at EVO X dyno sheets. That said, if you are able to bring your Lancer to life and that high of a level, you will hit 200WTQ before you hit 200WHP.
EVOSOUL: Not to get off topic, but was just curious what the status was of your testing with the air intakes for the Lancers? I know you had some technical difficulties with the Canadian ECU"S, so was just following up and seeing if this project was still in effect? Thanks again for your advice and expertise!!!!
